Do I need trading experience to use this? +
No. The setup guide walks you through everything from creating a free Alpaca account to running your first bot. If you can follow instructions and run a Python script, you're ready. Most customers are up and running within an hour.
Is this guaranteed to make money? +
No — and anyone who guarantees trading profits is lying to you. What we can honestly say is that each strategy was tested on years of real market data, including a later period it was never tuned on, with trading costs included — and that every one of them has had losing years. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results, which is why every bot starts in paper trading.
What do I need to run the bots? +
A Windows 10/11 computer, Python installed (free), a free Alpaca account for paper trading (no money required to start), and a Gmail account for email alerts. The full requirements list is in the setup guide.
Does my computer need to stay on? +
Yes — the bots run on your local machine, so your computer needs to be awake and connected to the internet while they run. The setup guide includes instructions for running on a cloud server if you want 24/7 operation without your personal computer.
How is this different from other trading bots I've seen? +
Most trading bots you see online either show fake results, use cherry-picked backtests, or lock you into recurring fees for black-box systems you don't understand. ReaperBots is lifetime-only: buy the modules you want once, then unlock them inside the Command Center.
Can I add my own stocks or crypto coins? +
Absolutely. The included backtest tool lets you test any symbol against 365 days of data before adding it to the live bot. The source code is fully yours to modify and extend.
